Rotation Schedule
Stagger replacement weekly to maintain continuous compound concentration:
- Week 1: Replace B1 bags
- Week 2: Replace B2 bags
- Week 3: Replace B3 bags
- Week 4: Replace B4 bags
Each group replaced monthly. Never replace all groups simultaneously — this would temporarily drop compound concentrations. The staggered system maintains steady-state compound availability.
Special Handling Notes
| Botanical | Warning |
|---|---|
| Licorice root | Max 5g/L brine — glycyrrhizin affects aldosterone at high doses |
| He shou wu (if used) | Processed form only — raw is hepatotoxic |
| Horse chestnut | Small amounts — dose-sensitive saponin |
| Vitex | Not for use during pregnancy |
| Dan shen | Monitor if on blood thinners — anticoagulant activity |
